Does it work on Mac and Linux too?

Yes. The installer works on Windows (PowerShell), macOS (Terminal/zsh/bash), and Linux. The install command is slightly different per platform — you'll receive the right one for your OS.

Do I need Claude Code already installed?

No. If Claude Code isn't installed, AIKit installs it for you as part of the setup. You only need Node.js and Git — the installer checks for both and tells you if anything is missing.

What are "skills" exactly?

Skills are instruction files that Claude loads when you call them. Each one tells Claude how to approach a specific task — code review, writing tests, security auditing, etc. They're stored in ~/.claude/skills/ and work with Claude Code's /skill command.

How do monthly updates work?

During install, AIKit registers a scheduled task that runs once a month. It pulls new skills and updated configs from the AIKit repository and applies them to your setup. You don't need to do anything.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — cancel from your Stripe dashboard or by emailing hello@originforge.net. Your skills stay installed after cancellation; you just won't receive new updates.
